markowitzdesign is an interdisciplinary creative studio offering Custom Handcrafted Furniture, Lighting and Architectural Services.

We create refined objects & spaces in which you can sense the hand of the maker. Our aesthetic blends contemporary lines with traditional techniques to create products designed to last. We offer a limited collection of small-batch production items, as well as working with private individuals, architects and organisations to design and build bespoke commission work.

Operating out of the Arts House in the North Melbourne Meat Markets, and supported by a network of skilled artisans operating within inner-Melbourne, we offer a socially-sustainable practice. Using local supply chains and local, small-scale craftspeople ensures that our work is crafted to exacting standards by people who take pride in the work that they do, as they are producing for their own community.
